Helen Langille has been married to Dan since 1991 and is the mother of Rebecca and Derek. She attended Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, and received a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree and then attended the University of Calgary to receive her Bachelor of Education Degree. She taught for three years at the Pembroke Christian School and then in 1999 began teaching with the Renfrew Country District School Board full time. She has taught everything from Junior Kindergarten up to Grade 8 and still enjoys the wonder of teaching. She has been an active part of the Sunday School teaching team at Emmanuel Lighthouse for many years and introduced the teen group to the use of signing, stick dramas, and the use of puppets in ministry. She has been active as the Ladies Ministry Director since 2011 and organizes a number of annual events. Her goal is to continue to minister to ladies young and old and mentor them in united prayer, family, and personal spiritual support. Helen believes that we all have a talent and can be used to help others in need in our community. It is her goal to see many new ladies come into the church and find the peace and joy that serving God can bring to a life...and a home.
